Do You Know How to Edge Out?
Having the inclination to stand out with an incredible new teardrop design, Vonnie Heyns went to work on creating just that. The director of 4EVR Plastic Products, Vonnie was asked by a friend about applying his current model to a camper creation. He did some digging and found a solution to seamless pods.
Growing up an avid explorer, Vonnie combined efforts with Retief Krige. An advanced and ultramodern Edge Out saw the light of day, and now is the quintessential teardrop camper. Based out of Cape Town in South Africa, these edgy and futuristic models are becoming ever so popular. Let’s see a breakdown of what these teardrops have to offer…
The Edge Out Model
The standard Edge Out teardrop will have all the rugged features, including:
15” mag tires which includes the spare, rear stabilizers, extra big nose cone, roof rails for cargo, roof vent to circulate air, generous queen size sleeping accommodations, stargazer window for those special nights, sufficient storage cubbies, interior and exterior LED lighting, netting in the side doors to hold your smaller items, 220v and USB connections, charging system which is ideal for solar paneling, and deep cycle battery.
The galley section boasts of a 2 burner gas stove with glass top, large water tank and pump, and a geyser and basin for water use. The suspension is galvanized and the chassis is stone-chipped Burquip to maintain the integrity.
One of the amazing designs of this teardrop model is that the Edge Out is made up of 2 separate molded units.
The sleeping cabin takes the front portion of the teardrop (much like a retro style camper) and the galley makes up the second unit. The unit comfortably sleeps two people, however a convenient roof tent can be added to sleep two additional people! Talk about the perfect setup for a family or traveling with friends!
Did we mention the seamless pods?!
The highlight of this means that there will be no leaks! This is huge for camping in all kinds of weather. You can rest assured that you won’t wake up in a puddle of water or witness seeping through a seam in the roof. The teardrop pods are lightweight, insulated, and parts are made from recyclable materials.

Edge Out Storage
These amazing teardrops come with cabinet space over the foot area. They come with a slide out for a cooler unit, slide out drawers in the galley, top shelving in the galley for a microwave. In addition, there is space for a large cargo box on the tongue area for additional storage needs.
