About Gateway Teardrops:
Gateway Teardrops was founded by two brothers, James and Ron, who come from a long line of outdoor enthusiasts, and spent much of their childhood camping amid the rural land and lakes of Arkansas. Eventually, the brothers got older, developed other interests, and drifted away from their love of camping. But it was only a matter of time until that would change.
In 2015, James spent some quality time taking his daughter and her friends on a camping trip, and quickly became disenchanted with the process of setting up and taking down the tent over the course of the 4-day trip. He knew he loved camping – just not in tents!
Shortly after the camping trip, James and his wife rented a teardrop trailer, and a business idea began to take shape. James enjoyed the teardrop so much that he decided to make his own, and that ultimately turned into an idea to make them for others as well. Things moved quite quickly after that revelation, and after sending a business proposal to his brother Ron, the plans for Gateway Teardrops were set into motion.
The Custom Shop
One of the unique qualities that sets Gateway Teardrops apart from the others is their commitment to building trailers to the exact specifications of their customers, working with each client from the ground up.
You’ll begin with a base model, and will partner with the team at Gateway throughout the entire design process, ensuring that the end result is the teardrop that previously existed only in your imagination.
They will even consult with you on options that will fit into your budget, offering recommendations for substitutions or cost-effective solutions for your needs. You’ll never get that kind of personal service from a dealership!

The Galley
With a curvy shape and a length of nine feet, this base model features abundant interior space and galley storage. The curved front, besides looking just plain awesome, also allows for a headboard featuring convenient extra storage for all of your bedtime necessities.
Never misplace your glasses or phone again (well, at least not while you’re camping)! This model also features loads of kitchen storage and prep space, with a stainless steel countertop, and a combination of open shelving and closed cabinets for all your kitchen utensils, snacks, and condiments.

The Utility
The perfect model for customizing to fit your needs, The Utility is the most versatile camper that Gateway Teardrops offers. The square-back shape allows for a roomy interior, and the back door is wide enough to allow for hauling bulky items, storage, or other non-camping purposes.
