A Little About Northern Teardrop Trailers
Like many other outdoor adventurers, Northern Teardrop owners Dale and Diana have explored various ways of shelter over the years. Everything from rough tent camping to traveling in style with a large fifth wheel. Nothing felt quite right, as either there wasn’t enough space and gear or there was too much…until they discovered their first teardrop trailer.
Much like Goldie Locks, it was just the right fit. Everything they needed in one place, and the teardrop was easy enough to just hook up and go with little preparation. Dale and Diana take such great pride in their craftsmanship, that they personally oversee the construction and finish of each teardrop that is built through their shop.
The kind of attention to detail that they would want on their own camper. Not only do they insist on a high quality product, but they mean to make it affordable so others can enjoy the “comfort camping” as much as they have over the years. Northern Teardrop 5×8 HPL
The HPL teardrop model comes with all of the Northern Teardrop standard features such as “high pressure laminate sides and roof” for special resistance to scratching and denting your trailer. It has two generous side doors and slide windows.
The HPL also has the option of a diamond plate tongue box for additional storage. Beautiful cabinets, reading lights, and a rooftop vent are contained within the cabin. A hatch opens to the rear galley for easy access to kitchen items. It has matching cabinets and drawers for all of your camping kitchen needs.
Other stunning features include a removable side table, hitch coupler and safety chains, 2 cabin corner shelves, folding front roller jack, slide out cooler tray and cooler, 2 burner camp stove, 12v fuse block, deep cycle battery, white spoke rims and 21” tires, interior clothing hooks, interior net pouches, net cargo hammock, insulated roofing, smoke detector and fire extinguisher for your safety, LED lighting through cabin and galley, and medium density foam bed.

The Woody teardrop is the model with UV resistant varnish on its birch siding. It is combined with an HPL rooftop for a sleek look. It has everything the HPL does, plus the extra retro wooden style on the exterior. Gorgeous interior and exterior standard equipment will leave you ready to explore the country.

Northern Teardrop 5×8 Coloured
The Coloured teardrop model is fixed with the same equipment as the other two models in the fleets, with the ability to add and customize where you see fit. However, with this edition, you will be able to enjoy the aluminum siding and various color options. It also contains the HPL roof for a modern and sharp look to this well built teardrop.
The Teardrop Options Are Endless
All of the models in the Northern Teardrop armada are able to be customized with options and add ons to see that you are satisfied with your teardrop! These ultralight campers are spacious and all weigh less than 1000 lbs when dry. Options include for a longer bed space, by creating a more narrow cooler space.
Customize to fit your preferences with the following additions: 2 porch lights (operable from exterior or interior), running water package to include a water tank and electric pump, high clearance option with different rims and tires, front cargo rack with longer trailer tongue, reversible power roof vent, locking tongue storage box, 110v power connection, or a child’s bunk instead of interior cabinet space.
