Using a propriety manufacturing process, the Durham family began to build these teardrops using a unique blend of composite materials and specialized molding techniques.

Each camper features composite materials that are made in the USA, including aerospace quality pre-impregnated fiberglass and carbon fiber. If you’re not quite sure what that means, it’s ok! Just know that it works. And that your camper will be less than 500 pounds, towable by any vehicle with a hitch.
The fully insulated cabin utilizes foam core technology to ensure warmth and a quiet, cozy environment by minimizing outside noise. The galley is designed for maximum efficiency with minimal setup, and a removable galley wall. The galley is a blank slate for you to house your cooking must-haves – and leave the rest at home!
If you want to convert your RIFT into a utility trailer on a whim? The removable galley wall allows you to easily set up your trailer for hauling purposes.

RIFT Utility Camper
This is the original model, which as RIFT states, is all about the weight! Under 500 pounds with a tongue weight of 61 pounds makes this a camper’s dream. No SUV needed, no towing restrictions, just the ability to pick up and go wherever your heart desires.
It even fits right into a standard parking spot for easy off-season storage. It doesn’t get better than this if you’re looking for the ultimate, lightweight teardrop camper.
Standard features include Timbren axel-less 1200 LB suspension, Yakima sport rack, Queen mattress, and other goodies to make this your home away from home.
RIFT Adventure Sport Camper
Featuring only a teaser on their website, RIFT promises this new model is coming soon. Designed to be just a bit more rough and tumble than the original, the RIFT Adventure Sport Camper packs a powerful punch. It features a larger frame, improved suspension system, better wheels and tires – but still weighs only 660 pounds!
Of course, built with the same durability and quality craftsmanship on which RIFT stakes its reputation.
