What good is living in Australia if you can’t enjoy the natural beauty surrounding you?
About Riptide Campers
Australia has miles of coastlines, rugged outback, and stunning wide open spaces that are just begging to be explored.
Riptide Campers combines the best of camping with the best of convenience, all with a little extra flair thrown in for a touch of luxury. David Ede founded the company after 25 years in the luxury boat building industry, and now uses his skills to build durable and reliable teardrop-style campers for Aussies who love to spend time outdoors.
You’ll no longer have to deal with the hassles that come with camping in order to get your explorer badge of honor!
No tent set up, no more chilly nights spent in a flimsy sleeping bag, and no more longing for insulated warmth from more than just a campfire. Pick up and go whenever – wherever – and with whomever. Riptide Campers are fully self-contained, giving you all the comforts of home on the road.
Australian Made For Superb Quality Craftsmanship
No imports here! Every Riptide is manufactured locally in the Arundel Qld, on the Australian Gold Coast.
All parts are sourced from Australian suppliers whenever possible, ensuring a level of quality control that provides customers the best user experience. During the construction process, the team uses Australian steel, Timbren and AL-KO suspensions, Engel and Waeco fridges, LED lights, and more, to build a product that their customers are proud to own.
The team at Riptide Campers truly listens to customer suggestions and feedback in order to deliver trailers that fit modern demands for flexibility, innovation, and luxurious comfort. And of course, durability.
The Riptide Lineup
No matter what your camping experience typically looks like (or what you envision it to be), Riptide Campers has a model to fit the bill.
The Breeze
This model is the largest production teardrop camper manufactured in Australia, featuring up to 30% more interior space and headroom than others in its class. With a 6’8” Queen foam mattress, a roomy galley kitchen with a ton of usable storage space, and aerodynamic styling to facilitate easy towing, The Breeze lives up to its name with easy, breezy style.
Swell and Swell XL
If lightweight convenience is the name of your game, these models will do the trick. Low fuel consumption, simple storage, and easy towing make these trailers the go-to for minimalist campers who are done with the hassles of traditional camping gear. Featuring a double size mattress or 4” Queen mattress (in the XL), ample kitchen space, and a bunch of interior goodies, the Swell makes a perfect choice for stress-free trip planning.
The Tsunami and The Typhoon
Wanna go off-road?
These guys are built solid and tough to support all of your dirtiest, bumpiest, and most rugged adventures. An extended aluminum drawbar box, upgraded suspension height, roof racks, an instant hot water shower, and a slide-out 2 burner cooker with grill make these off-road models the ultimate trailers to take you ALL the places you want to go.
And you can upgrade any of the Riptide Campers to include fun extras like a bike rack, gas BBQ, roof top tent, awning, or your choice of external colors. Absolutely perfect for your next Aussie adventure.
