Based in Sydney, Australia, Smidge Teardrop Campers designed and built their first teardrop in 2019, after many years of research and development. Their vision of creating a functional, lightweight, easy-to-tow model that would also be a source of comfort was brought to life, and they continue to turn out exceptional quality for customers across Australia.

With an in-house team of committed mechanics, electricians, and tradespeople, every stage of the build is overseen with superior quality control to guarantee a seamless finish. For the final interior touches, there is even a dedicated seamstress who creates the soft upholstery and custom curtains.
All parts are designed and cut on a CNC router, the marine-grade birch plywood is hand-coated with a durable and organic hard wax oil, and the cabinetry is meticulously screwed together with intense precision. When the final reveal is made, it’s apparent that the vision of the team architect has been brought to life with vibrant style.

All the great construction and durable quality hand-built by the Smidge team, with the addition of upgrades such as a solar panel, fridge/freezer, a two-burner stove with grill, and a foam mattress that converts into a daybed.

The new squaredrop campers are built with off-road suspension and higher ground clearance, a Queen size bed, specially engineered chassis design, a slightly larger interior, and options for enhanced power and water sources.
