Aloha from Hawaii!
Did you know that this state was one of two that was acknowledged as an independent nation before becoming a part of America? With its tropical environment and vastly different landscapes, it is considered to be one of the magical tourist destinations.
A few popular attractions include the resting place of the USS Arizona Memorial (located at Pearl Harbor), Diamond Head (volcano cone), and Kahanu Garden (botanical garden near Maui).

Your teardrop trailer, or rental if you choose, would be most welcome at places like Makanipaio Campground in the Hawaii Volcanoes Park. At night, you are able to see the glow of the volcano. Kulaokuaiki Campground is another option in the park of the volcanoes.
Or stay at the ruins of an old shipping port at Whittington Beach Park where you can explore nearby caves and golf at the course. In the mood for some natural hot springs, warmed by underground lava? Then a night at Isaac Hale Beach Park is the way to go. Park on the beach at Ho’okena Beach Park where you can rent water equipment.
Experience a Hawaii sunset from the shores!
As popular as Hawaii is, there are only 13 RV friendly campgrounds, resorts, and parks across the islands. The state run parks are for tent camping only and are generally in the backwoods of the mountains.
