Quality, convenience, and sustainability, all in one rugged and lightweight off-road teardrop trailer
About TerraCraft Outdoors:
Off-road exploration is one of the great joys of life, and in keeping with that sentiment, every Terracraft trailer is built to fit in with a lifestyle of rugged adventure. Based in Fort Collins, Colorado, Terracraft Outdoors comes from a collaboration of two lifelong friends, Geoff and Daniel.
They grew up spending time outdoors and always had a passion for building their own rigged-up camping gear and equipment to suit their personal needs. Geoff is a mechanical design engineer and Daniel is a supply chain analyst, and now the two use their extensive background experiences and professional skills to create some of the best sustainable teardrop trailers you will find in the U.S.
Founded on quality and a mission for sustainability, Terracraft practices what they preach. Since they opened their headquarters and manufacturing facility, it has been 100% powered by renewable energy, and they continue to perform at a level that promotes environmental responsibility and sustainability in everything they do.
Their trailers are built to be fuel efficient and aerodynamic to minimize their carbon footprint, and solar panels are a standard option on every trailer. The team also uses recycled materials whenever possible within their projects, and they have a goal of working with only wood that is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council by the end of 2021.
With the commendable actions of Terracraft, customers can feel good that they are supporting the environment whenever they work with this team of planet-conscious pros.
The Innovative Body Style
Sturdy, strong, and built to last – that’s the promise of the Terracraft team.
Their teardrops are not simply built like many others, with a wooden body set on a steel frame. Their approach integrates the steel frame into the whole exterior body design, making the trailer one solid and durable piece that can withstand even the harshest off-road battles.
By using this innovative strategy, the team ensures that the main building materials of carbon tube steel and Baltic birch plywood work together to offer support and lightweight efficiency for each custom-built trailer.
The Outpost
Whether you’re staying at your remote site for a day or a month, your adventure should never be limited by shelter or storage constraints. The last thing you want when you’re enjoying quality time with nature is to experience a major problem, power failure, or water supply issues.
Each trailer is outfitted with solar panels, a 26-gallon water storage capacity, and 10 pounds of onboard propane to ensure you’ll never be without modern comforts while out in the wild. The spacious interior of the cabin and galley kitchen are perfect for enjoying the mountain views, cooking up a delicious meal on the 2-burner aluminum stove, and then snuggling up in the cozy Queen bed for some shut-eye.
You can customize the trailer to be completely your own by adding on any number of amazing extras, such as a rooftop tent, awning, shower, off-road hitch, bunk bed, and much more!
