Custom Handcrafted Teardrop Trailers | Vancouver, WA
Odyssey Teardrops — Where Craftsmanship Meets Adventure
Some teardrop trailers are built on an assembly line. Odyssey Teardrops are built by hand, one at a time. By a master craftsman with a passion for thoughtful design and exceptional quality.
Based in Vancouver, Washington. Odyssey Teardrops is the creation of Robert Carlson — a builder whose love for woodworking, camping, and innovative trailer design. It comes through in every single detail of every trailer he produces.
Do not let the quiet social media presence fool you — Odyssey Teardrops is very much alive and actively building. Robert stays busy delivering custom trailers and is currently developing an exciting new off-road prototype. That promises to bring the same Odyssey craftsmanship to more rugged adventures.
If you want a teardrop that is truly one of a kind, Odyssey is worth every bit of your attention.

What Makes Odyssey Teardrops Special
Odyssey Teardrops are not your typical teardrop trailer. Robert has spent years refining a design that solves real problems campers face, limited storage. Cramped sleeping arrangements, and the challenge of camping comfortably with family. The result is a trailer packed with features you simply will not find anywhere else.
Elaborate Slide Out Galleys The Odyssey galley kitchen is a standout feature. A fully designed slide out kitchen with a custom cabinet arrangement. Slide out camp stove and cooler trays, three storage drawers, a sink with a three way faucet, built in lights. And ample space to cook for the whole family. It is a chef’s kitchen in a compact, towable package.

Tons of Storage One of the most common complaints about teardrop trailers is the lack of storage. Odyssey addresses this head on with a design that maximizes every inch of available space. Inside the cabin, in the galley, and throughout the trailer. You will not be leaving gear behind when you tow an Odyssey.

Introducing The Slide-out
The Slide Out Bunk Bed — A True Family Camper This is where Odyssey really sets itself apart. The signature slide out bunk bed with an attached tent creates a true family camping solution. In a trailer that still fits in your garage.
The main cabin sleeps two adults comfortably while the slide out bunk provides a safe, cozy sleeping space for kids. Complete with tent enclosure for privacy and weather protection. It is a genuinely innovative solution that no other teardrop builder offers.
Fits in Your Garage Despite all of these features — the slide out galley, the bunk bed system, the generous storage. An Odyssey Teardrop is compact enough to fit in a standard home garage.
You get the features of a much larger camper. Without sacrificing the convenience and maneuverability that makes teardrop trailers so appealing.

The Odyssey Story
Robert Carlson founded Odyssey Teardrops in Vancouver, Washington. After being inspired by vintage teardrop trailers and seeing an opportunity to build something better. A trailer that combined classic teardrop styling with innovative modern features designed for real family adventures.
The design had been brewing for over seven years before the first Odyssey rolled out of Robert’s workshop. Built on a foundation of more than 30 years of craftsmanship across multiple industries.
Every Odyssey trailer is handcrafted from pine, birch wood, and anodized aluminum by Robert himself. A true craftsman who brings skill, patience, and genuine passion to every build.
Robert stays connected with the teardrop community primarily through Facebook trailer groups and Reddit. Where real teardrop enthusiasts share honest feedback and where Odyssey trailers regularly draw admiring attention.
He is currently developing a new off-road prototype that will bring the signature Odyssey features to more adventurous terrain. An exciting development for fans of the brand.
