The park has many historic sites, freshwater springs, and caves to hike and explore. Camping in this gorgeous park is available, so bring your trailer to park it in any of the following areas (depending on the amenities that you prefer): Alley Spring, Big Spring, Pulltite, Round Spring, Two Rivers, or Powder Mill.
For our history fans out there, we always have a little something special for you! Wilson’s Creek National Battlefield and the Ulysses S. Grant Historic Site will be your go-to objectives. You will get to witness musket firing demonstrations and partake in guided or unguided tours of the grounds.
There are many free campsites close to these parks to park your new teardrop for the night, so you can rest up for your next adventure. Local private landowners will also post information on how you can use their ranch locations for accommodations. The perfect way to make some new friends!
